CLA is nothing new to the sports supplement market and certainly nothing new to us here at Peak Body. So why haven't we released a CLA product onto the market earlier. The reason is simple: PURITY. Previously available CLA supplements that have been sold by numerous supplement companies have been less than pure, this has been the main reason why PEAK BODY have held back on releasing a CLA product. The Problem with Early CLA products?
The problem with the original CLA products appears to be down to the actual manufacturers, rather than the supplement companies. When the public began to realise that maybe CLA was not giving them the results they required, supplement companies were left scratching their heads in disbelief, the research and the proof has always been available and often very overwhelming, CLA can, does and will reduce body fat in humans, yet results were not happening. When we finally got around to discovering the problem behind the failure of early CLA supplements, it was easy to understand. The specific part of the CLA compound, (C9 T11 Isomer) the part that was responsible for all the fat-burning, muscle building effects during all the hours of research was nowhere to be found in any of the early CLA supplements, quite simply the sources that were supplying companies with CLA either did not have good enough CLA in the first place, or the techniques used to process the product were far too harsh for the active ingredients to survive.
Effective CLA
For CLA to be effective it must contain a high percentage of the active C9,T11 and T10,C12 Isomers, unlike the original CLA products that contained as little as 10% of each Isomer, meaning that to get any effects from the product you needed to take up to 8 times the recommended dose (but of course you didn't know that), Peak Body CLA PURE utilises highest grade CLA softgels manufactured by one of only two laboratories in the world that actually provide a high enough level of the active Isomers to allow CLA to illicit its powerful effects. So simply put, if the CLA you are buying is not from the same source as ours forget about getting any benefits.
So what exactly does CLA do?
Various studies performed on CLA have shown it to exhibit various effects in humans. In one research study, 25 obese men (aged between 34-64) supplemented their diet with either 3 grams of CLA or 3 grams of a placebo (Vegetable oil) during a 4-week period. After the 4 weeks, the group taking the CLA product lost an average of 0.6 cm from their stomachs and 1.4 cm from their waists. *
That's a pretty big loss when you consider that diets were not controlled. Of course those taking the placebo noticed no difference at all. Other reported benefits of CLA are increased muscle gains, decrease in growth of tumour cells, reduction in plasma LDL cholesterol and a marked anti-oxidant effect.
Who would benefit from using CLA Pure?
